Our PTO is organizing snack support for students during the upcoming CMAS testing window, and we need your help! Testing days can be long and mentally demanding, and a small snack can go a long way in keeping our students energized and focused.
Please consider signing up using the link below to donate snacks. All donations should be dropped off at the front office by March 1.
Your generosity helps us support students as they work hard and do their best during CMAS.

FCHS Student Council Opportunity!
Hello Future Lambkins!
We are excited to have you at FCHS next year. We are inviting you to apply for Student Council at Fort Collins High School. Student Council is an organization that promotes student engagement, plans events such as assemblies, dances, spirit days, and more. To be in Student Council you are expected to be a leader within the school, take initiative, and uphold the FCHS Pillars of Excellence: Responsibility, Respect, Integrity, Pride, and Acceptance. If you are interested, please fill out the application below by February 27th. After applying there will be an interview portion as well that will take place at Fort Collins High School from March 2nd - 12th. Due to the sheer number of applicants we get, we cannot assure all applicants will get an interview. There are a limited number of spots for each grade. In addition to the application, you will need two recommendations - one must be from a teacher. Please send the recommendation link to two adults as your reference. We recommend sending the link as soon as possible, even before you submit the application, to give the recommenders time to complete the form. If you have any questions, please reach out to our advisor Mr. Rhoades at Craigr@psdschools.org. We hope you are excited to be a Lambkin!

FCHS Spread the Love Week
Middle School Parents,
Fort Collins High School is hosting a FREE Carnival for elementary and middle school students on Wednesday, February 25th from 5 - 8pm. This carnival is part of our Spread the Love Week, an annual FCHS tradition that serves as both a fun-filled week of events for students and as a fundraiser for an important cause. This year we are partnering with Make-A-Wish: Colorado. Our Make-A-Wish kid this year is Lulu, a 5-year-old girl diagnosed with Leukemia whose wish is to go on a Disney Cruise to meet the princesses. Our goal is to raise $25,000 for kids like Lulu!!
The carnival has a variety of activities including Face painting, Temporary Tattoos, Spin for a Hershey Kiss, Football Throw, Basketball toss, Mario Kart, Cake Walk, Color Lounge,
Lilo & Stitch Watch Party (Lulu's favorite movie), Cornhole, Spikeball, a Photo booth, and much more. Again, the carnival is free with a suggested donation of $10 to support kids like Lulu. Please see the attached flyer for more information.
Thank you for your support!

If you want a jacket, it’s yours! Need a water bottle, we’ve got it for you! The Lesher Thrift Store is located right outside Mr. Mitchell’s office (room 36), across the hall from the front office, with many of the items displayed in the window and is open on “Blue” Days after school until 2:40. Please come take what you want and leave the rest for others, and please keep our space organized so we can all use it! Thanks, and go Vikings! Please note: all clothing has been donated and is lightly used.

PSD Engagement Norms
In an effort to foster a culture of mutual respect, effective communication, and quality customer service, PSD has created a set of norms for staff, family/guardian, and community engagement. These norms aim to set a positive tone for interactions between staff and parents and community members, whether they happen in person, over the phone, or in writing.
The norms will be posted in all PSD schools and include expectations that:
- Calls or emails that are not emergencies will be acknowledged within three school days.
- Appointments between the parties involved will be established as a norm for addressing concerns or discussing important matters through direct communication.
- Appointments will take place as soon as reasonably possible. Adequate time is needed for preparation and research before an appointment.
- Communication will focus on collaboration and understanding – respectful language and non-confrontational behavior from all parties are expected.
- Boundaries between personal and professional life will be maintained, and sensitive matters will not be addressed in community settings.
It’s important for everyone in our schools and in our communities to feel welcome and engage in mutual respect to best serve students.
