Weekly Update

Hi all!

Just a few quick reminders:

1. The Back-to-School Picnic is tomorrow evening. Please bring your school supplies (so the first day is easier for everyone) and join us for a hot dog meal in the cafeteria. We will also have a uniform exchange table if you want to participate. Also, please invite a family if they may be interested in learning about our school. We would love a chance to show them our community!

2. The first day of school is a half day on August 20th from 7:45 AM to 10:50 AM. A little lower in the newsletter will be some reminders about pick up and drop off procedures. Please be sure to share these with anyone that will be picking up or dropping your children off.

We still have openings in every grade level in the event you know someone that is looking for a change. Please have them contact Mr. Peyton Glawe at peyton.glawe@aquinschools.org or 815-235-3154.

HEALTH/IMMUNIZATION FORMS

Physicals, Immunization, Dental and Vision forms are due to Mrs. Gaulrapp in the office. These forms can be brought in before school begins, during the Back to School Picnic or sent the first day of school. It is very important to have a record of immunizations by October 15th and not having them can cause your child to be excluded from school. Please contact Mrs. Gaulrapp if you have any questions.

FREE/REDUCED LUNCH FORMS

The free/reduced lunch application forms are attached to this newsletter. If you previously qualified or think you may qualify, please make sure you fill them out. These can also be sent to the office before school starts. The first day of school lunch is August 21st. If you do not have forms turned in by this day, you will need to send a lunch with your child or you will be billed for the full cost of the lunch at $4.50.

FACTS BILLING 2025-2026

The billing for families is available in the FACTS portal. Please make sure that you are keeping current with your account. Payments can be done through the portal or by paying in the school office.
