Hello!

We are excited for your student to attend LMA's SCUBA New Student Orientation Day. The purpose of SCUBA is to help new students feel more comfortable and help them succeed at LMA!

LMA's SCUBA New Student Orientation and year-long program is designed to welcome and support new students by assigning them returning LMA student SCUBA leaders as mentors for the year. These SCUBA leaders are responsible older students who were hand selected from a large pool of applicants that have met the qualifications of being good role models and positive leaders on campus. Following is some information to let you know what you and your child can expect in advance for their first day of school at LMA.

1. Your student is invited to the LMA SCUBA New Student Orientation Day on Friday, August 7th from 12:15pm-2:15pm. Students will enter through the gates at the front of the school near the office and head into the gym.
2. Your child is encouraged to NOT bring backpacks, purses, or other like items as the day is quite active.
3. Due to the highly active nature of the day, please make sure that your child wears comfortable clothing and shoes that don't restrict movement.

This is an event for new students ONLY. Please drop your child off at 12:15pm and return to pick them up at 2:15pm.

If you are new to Tustin Unified School District, you need to ensure that you complete online enrollment (which is different and separate from completing your transfer request). If you are unsure if you have completed this step, please email or call the following front office personnel:

Once you email/call the front office personnel, they will be able to verify and assist. All registration documents will be uploaded into AERIES Parent Portal or will need to be brought to the Legacy Main Office. Please be sure to submit all documents.

Dear Families,

Doctor authorizations for school medications or health procedures must be renewed annually. If your child will need medication at school during the upcoming school year, please complete a medication form with your child's doctor or health care provider and submit it to the health office prior to having medication on campus. A doctor authorization is needed for all prescription and over-the-counter medications, as well as emergency medications carried in student backpacks ("self-carry medications").
