Our 5th-6th graders WARM our hearts!
- Our 5th-grade crew is working on ELA standards by reading nonfiction and historical narratives about the underground railroad. They will begin writing their own narratives about the underground railroad in the approaching weeks.
In math, 5th grade is converting the metric systems to standard measurements and back again. They are also exploring the wonderful world of finding the volume of a rectangular prism.
6th grade is working on fiction and nonfiction standards. We have explored the Great Depression and Great Migration through Historical Narratives, music, and nonfiction texts.
In 6th grade math, we are unpacking fractional division in word problems.
Both classes are improving and developing reading and math strategies in one on one zooms with Ms. C and Mrs. P. A message from Ms. C "I have to say, I have the best classes on the planet! "

Stop by and drop in from 1:00-3:00 PM.
Students will be able to connect with students from their area, learn to be library users, and build community relations.
