Thanks to our third graders this year's Jump Rope For Heart was another successful event raising $4,584.00 for the American Heart Association.

This year's leading fundraisers from each class were:

Mrs. Schmidt's class: Rebecca Boggs - $585.00

Mr. Gallagher's class: Joshua Jordan - $300.00

Ms. Zimmer's class: Aidan Byrnes - $250.00

Mrs. Shackleton's class: Carter Edwards - $200.00

Ben Franklin has raised over $23,500.00 in the last five years!!!!

The third graders worked very hard the entire month of February

to learn and master some very cool jump rope tricks.

Individual Ropes - "The Criss-Cross," "The Skier," and "The Side Swing Cross"

Partner Skills - "Two with one rope," "Two people with two ropes,"

Two in one rope (face to face), (back to front), and (back to back)

Long Rope Skills - cold start, jumping in and out, DOUBLE DUTCH
