Notes to Families of GCHS Students

It's hard to believe one-third of the year is almost over. Please see the schedule below. You'll notice 2 key changes on the days of trimester testing. 1) Open Campus is ONLY for students who are PASSING classes. If your child is not passing a class they will report to that teacher during their regularly assigned period on either Thursday or Friday for remediation. 2) ALL students will report to class as usual during Thursday afternoon and Friday morning for testing, presentations, etc.

• Nov. 9-10 Trimester Testing (adjusted schedule for some)
• Nov. 13 Trimester 2 begins
• No school November 20-24 (Thanksgiving Break)
• Dec 1 & 2 Winter Play

When there is a teacher vacancy, it creates challenges. We are partnering with an Iowa Central Comm. College instructor to be able to offer Spanish 3 and 4 to students. Please have your Junior or Senior student connect with Mrs. Wenck for any schedule changes.
