Please be sure your student brings a signed permission slip (found below) in order to purchase a ticket. This week also marks the start of fall sports playoffs. Best of luck to our Field Hockey, Girls Soccer, and Boys Soccer teams as they represent MMS in their postseason championship bids! We are so proud of all your hard work and teamwork this fall. Off-Site Evacuation Drill
In the event of an emergency requiring us to leave campus, students and staff would walk together to Bishop Field and then be transported by bus to Merrimack High School for parent reunification.
This week, our students will participate in an off-site evacuation drill. On Tuesday, October 21st, we will practice walking to Bishop Field and returning to school as part of this safety drill. Please remind your students to dress appropriately for the outdoor walk.

October Reading Challenge
October is here, and it’s the perfect month to get a little spooky! We’re inviting students and their families to dive into mysteries, thrillers, supernatural stories, or just plain scary books. From creepy ghost tales to puzzling mysteries, there’s a story for everyone who loves a good thrill!
How the challenge works:
Choose and read a book that fits the spooky theme—alone or together as a family.
Each entry counts as a chance to win prizes in our October Reading Contest!
This October, explore the chills, thrills, and mysteries that books have to offer—whether you’re reading solo or sharing the story with family. Who knows what surprises lurk between the pages!

Dismissal/Visiting Procedures
In our ongoing effort to increase school security, we have the following procedures when parents/guardians come to our school during school hours. Thank you all for your understanding.
Dismissal - If dismissing a student, we ask that an authorized dismissing parent/guardian show their ID in the foyer, and then wait in that location for the dismissed student to meet you.
Dropping off items - If a parent/guardian is dropping off an item for a student, we ask that they leave it in the designated area in the foyer.
Visiting the school - If parents/guardians are arriving for a scheduled meeting, we ask that they show their ID in the foyer and then sign in at the main office to receive a visitor pass.
