The 1st week of ILearn testing for our 3rd and 4th-grade students begins on Monday, April 22. It will be critical for all students to be at school and on time each day. If your child is sick and should not be at school, please keep in communication with the main office and your child’s teacher. You are invited! Warren Township Council of PTAs is sponsoring a Digital Families Community Event to be held at the Warren Education & Community Center, 975 N. Post Road on April 22nd at 6:00 p.m.

Raising children in the age of smartphones and social media brings new challenges and concerns for all families. This event will promote safer and more responsible use of online technology among children and families. #PTAProud

Warren Township School District has a new app and website! The purpose of the app and website is to provide regular updates through the live feed, district news, and district events sections as well as other important district information. The app includes easy access to the weekly breakfast and lunch menu, staff contacts, district documents, bullying, and safety reporting form, and much much more. Spring pictures will be taken at Lakeside on Friday, April 19. Any purchase of pictures is completely optional. Pictures are only taken if payment is made on the same day or if on-line confirmation is shown. Payment is made payable to LifeTouch, not the school. Photo packages will be sent home after break and will also be available in the main office of school. Students are only allowed to be out of uniform if they are purchasing Spring Pictures.

You can support this event by showing this flyer or advising Steer In Diner that you are with the YMCA when you either dine in, carry out, or use delivery service. Monday, June 3rd is Warren Township's last day of the regular school year (barring no further weather closings). This date has been extended due to the following weather closings: November 15th and January 30th. All students will be dismissed early on this day.

Grades K-4 will be dismissed at 2:30 pm

Grades 5 - 12 will be dismissed at 1:30 pm

We currently have many personal items in the Lost and Found bins located in the school clinic. Please check with your child and if they are missing any clothing, jackets, books, lunchboxes, or other personal items, please have them check our bins. Any item not claimed by the end of the year will be donated to a worthy charity.

It’s that time of year when we need to remind student to make sure they have appropriate clothing for recess. The district policy states students will be going outside for recess if the temperature and the wind chill are above 20 degrees. We have extra coats, hats, and gloves for students in need. Please contact the front office if you need assistance.

Students must go outside unless we have a doctor statement.

While we love to celebrate, please remember that there is a “no birthday treats “ guideline. Also, note that no birthday invitations are allowed to be distributed at school. It is school policy.

The occasion may arise when the school district wants to recognize your child or your child’s school. This may include your child’s photo, your child’s name or your child’s work in district publications, newsletters, on school district websites, and in electronic/social media or in staff training videos. We may also want to tell the media (including newspapers, television, and radio) about your child’s achievements. We never knowingly release information about a student to anyone who wants to use it for commercial/political purposes. However, we will honor your request to not include your child in these types of recognitions if you notify your child’s school office in writing that you do not want this type of information released.
