Acceptable Use Agreements

If your child has not turned in a signed acceptable use agreement (AUA), they will be bringing home one for you to sign. If it is not signed and returned by Tuesday, September 13th, your child will no longer be able to use district issued devices.

Back to School Rally

Check out information about our upcoming Springdale Back to School Rally at Arvest Ballpark on Wednesday, September 14th. We hope to see our Stallion families at the FREE event.

Free & Reduced Lunch Meal Forms

Please complete the Free/Reduced Meal Form as soon as possible. We have paper copies of the form as well. If you need assistance with completing the form, feel free to reach out to us in the office. We'd love to help!

MAP testing will continue next week. Our fifth grade students will test on Tuesday and Wednesday. We will also be administering make up tests to students that were absent on days their grade level tested.

Mark your calendars for September 14th at the Naturals Ballpark to celebrate Springdale Public Schools! TGS will have a booth to celebrate our school. The event begins at 5:00 p.m. and is completely free. Complimentary parking is available with the phrase "Springdale Schools Rally." Wear your T.G. Smith Elementary shirt to show your pride.

The baseball game begins at 7:05 p.m.

There are 4 levels of membership. The PTA helps support our school by purchasing items needed (digital sign, equipment, grant for teachers), planning fun events for our students (dances, fun runs, etc.), providing items for class parties, providing treats for teachers and staff, and many more ways!

You should have received information regarding our PTA fundraiser in your child's weekly folder. We are excited about this fun event!

We need your help to make sure our Stallion SPRINT runs smoothly! Click on the link below to view and sign up for volunteer opportunities happening over the next few weeks. Signing up to help at the track on Sept 23rd is a great way to help WHILE cheering on your child on the day of the race!

Morning Arrival:

• Just a reminder that our morning bell rings at 7:45 a.m.
• Starting Monday, August 22nd, students will be asked to walk into the building by themselves.
• Please make it a morning priority to have your child to school no later than 7:45 a.m. If a student arrives after 7:45, parents will need to walk their child to the office and sign them in for the day. In the event your child accumulates excessive tardies, a school official will be reaching out to assist you in developing a plan for arriving at school on time. This is an important skill for students to acquire at an early age.

Car Rider Arrival:

• Please do not let your students out of the car until the duty teacher walks out at 7:15 a.m.

Car Rider Dismissal:

• Students are dismissed beginning at 3:10 (M,T, Th, F) and 1:50 (W).
• Students are dismissed to the car rider dismissal area with a blue car tag. If you do not have your tag, you will be asked to park and wait until students are called outside at 3:25.
• If you are picking up a student in the car rider line, please stay in your car in the dismissal line and we will bring the student to you. If your student is not able to open/close the car door and buckle their seatbelt, please take time this weekend to practice.
• Please do not park and bring your tag to the covered walkway. This procedure was put in place to keep our students and their families safe. If you have any questions, please give Mrs. Simco or Mrs. Barron a call and we will be able to help you.
