9/2 (2nd period testing)

9/3 (3rd period testing)

9/8 (4th period testing)

9/9 (5th period testing)

9/10 (6th period testing)

Wireless Communication Devices or WCD (cell phones, smartwatches, headphones, airpods)

*The use of WCD is strictly prohibited with the exception of during lunch (in the cafeteria only!)

*WCD must be placed in locked cell phone boxes located in each classroom

*At no time can the WCD be on your person. They must be in a backpack, not in pockets or otherwise.

*No WCD usage in hallways during passing

Failure to comply with the WCD policy will result in the following consequences:

1st offense: WCD confiscation, parent pick up of WCD

2nd offense: referral, WCD confiscation, parent pick up of WCD

3rd offense: referral, WCD confiscation, parent pick up of WCD, total ban of WCD from school

**Please note that this is state law and we are bound by the legislation**

Tardy Policy

*Be on time to every class every day

*Five tardies to a class will result in a minor infraction referral and a lunch detention

*Ten tardies to a class will result in a referral and afterschool detention

*Fifteen tardies to a class will result in a referral and Saturday school

*Twenty tardies to a class will result in a referral for defiance and progressive discipline

Traffic

*Be informed that ZPD will be strictly enforcing traffic laws. Please do not speed in our school zone, pull into the bus loop, go in the wrong way to the bus loop, make illegal u-turns, stop in the middle of the road, or pull off the side of the road in front of the no parking signs. This is for the safety of everyone at ZHS. Student drop-off and pick-up is in the student parking lot by the tennis courts or the gym parking lot.

*The bus loop is off limits for student drop off in the morning as well as student pick up in the afternoon.

*We will be enforcing the "right-turn only" when exiting the student parking lot both in the morning as well as in the afternoon. This ensures traffic flows smoothly.

Student Parking

*Students are only allowed to park in their assigned spot in the student parking lot. They must have their parking pass visible or they are subject to the vehicle being towed at the owner's expense.

Dress Code

*Shirts must have straps and cover the entire midsection

*Boys must have shirts with sleeves (no tank-tops)

*No visible undergarments or private body parts showing

*Pants/shorts must stay in place at the waist

*No blankets/pillows

*No violent or offensive clothing

A couple of safety reminders:

*Due to bus arrivals, there is no student drop off in the bus loop from 6:30am - 7:15am. Please use the student parking lot by the tennis courts or the gym parking lot (Please note that the gates from the gym parking lot leading inside the school will be locked at 7:06am)

*Students may not exit through any gates or open any gates for anyone, even if they know them. This is announced daily, but please speak with your student about this safety requirement. Everyone, including OJT and off-campus must funnel in and out of the front office. This is non-negotiable.

*No student checkouts after 1:00pm. Late checkouts cause buses to not be able to enter and line up for dismissal.

*Please keep your contact information up to date in myStudent as we are not allowed to change anything in the system (phone number, address, etc..).

*No food/beverage deliveries at any time for students.
