LABOR DAY SEPTEMBER 7TH NO SCHOOL
Letter from Mrs. Tapia
September 2026
Dear Wildcat Families,
We are settling into the school year beautifully, and it has been such a joy to see students learning, making new friends, and living out our Wildcat Way. This month we are continuing to focus on the expectation “Be Safe”—whether in the classroom, on the playground, or during arrival and dismissal. Thank you for reinforcing these important habits at home!
Here are some important dates and opportunities coming up in September:

A Special Visit from Mac Barnett!
We are thrilled to welcome award-winning author Mac Barnett to our school! This is a wonderful opportunity for our kindergarten - third grade students to meet a beloved author and celebrate the joy of reading. To make this visit extra special, families can purchase a signed copy of one of Mac Barnett’s books for their child to have as a lasting keepsake from this exciting experience. What better way to inspire a lifelong love of reading than with a book signed by the author himself? Order your child’s signed book today so they can treasure this special memory for years to come! Orders due by Friday 9/11.
