Calling all HTHS students! September is attendance awareness month. You may not be aware of this, but the school derives much of its funding from student attendance during this month. You are hereby challenged to participate in our attendance awareness competition. Every student who is present (all day) to school for the month of September will be entered into a drawing. The winners of this drawing will be announced at the October 3rd pep rally! We have two first place prizes, two second place prizes, and two third place prizes.

1st Place - $300

2nd Place - $200

3rd Place - $100

Missing even one day for any reason during the month of September for any reason will remove you from the competition.

School fees are available for payment on the My School Bucks app or via the following link: https://www.myschoolbucks.com/ver2/getmain?requestAction=home. We are working through all questions received and invoice corrections due to schedule changes. Our target date to have all MSB accounts updated due to schedule changes is Friday, September 5, 2025.

The 2025-26 Course Fee Sheet is located on the HTHS website via the following link: https://hths.tcsk12.us/students-and-families/finances-and-fees. Compare student schedules to the fee sheet to determine which fees are due. Please use the HTHS School Fee Questions link on the HTHS website or contact the HTHS Finance Office at (205) 228-4000 with questions or concerns.

9th-10th graders will take a Mock ACT on Progress Learning (formerly Horizon)

11th graders will take a Mock ACT through Cantrell & Waller

12th graders will have an E-Learning Day...HOWEVER, they will be exempt from E-Learning if they attend a Senior meeting at 9am in the auditorium.
