Early Release/Student Pick Up Procedure
Just a reminder about the adjustment to our early release/student pick-up procedure. We’re making these changes in order to ensure that the office is able to fully support all the end of day procedures safely and efficiently. Moving forward, here are the changes that we are implementing here at Oak View to our student early release process:
Early release pick up can happen during the day up until 3:30.
From 3:30 until 4:00, we will no longer be able to call down kids to be picked up from the office.
If you need to pick up your scholar between 3:30-4:00 your two options are:
Pick them up before 3:30.
Wait until 3:55 when we release students.
Please notify the office by 3:15 if you are picking your child up before 3:30. We’ll do our best to have your child in the office ready for you.
Changes to your child’s end of day routine
If you are changing your child’s end of day routine, please call the office to notify them of the change. You must call by 3:15 or no change will be made. We will call your child’s teacher and let them know of the change. An example of a change to end of the day routines would be parent pickup instead of bus, bus instead of KidStop, etc.
These changes have been implemented and are in full effect. We will be sticking to these guidelines.
