NEW SPIRITWEAR!
It's here, it's here!! CLICK HERE TO SEE OUR NEW GEAR! A big thank you to April Pace (3rd grade parent and PTA VP of Fundraising) for her graphic design talent and time working with Lori (The Tee Room). We plan to discount one design every now and then. This round we are going with the Grange Hall Varsity Design - snag yours for $17 base price. I mention "base price" because you have the option to upgrade designs to long sleeve and hoodie options. The Bulldog spiritwear is also available in two colors and adds a sweatshirt option.
Fidgets at School: Safety and Expectations
As a reminder, fidgets are meant to be focus tools, not toys. Students should use only one at a time, rather than collecting or displaying several on their desks. If an item becomes a distraction to the student or their classmates, it will need to be put away.
A Note on "NeeDoh" and Gel-Filled Fidgets: We strongly encourage students to leave liquid- or gel-filled squishy items at home. School nurses across the county are reporting these frequently popping and leaking. If your child does bring a gel-filled fidget to school, please review these strict safety rules with them:
If it pops, it goes immediately into the trash.
The student must thoroughly wash their hands with soap and water.
Never put the leaked gel near the mouth or taste it.
Preferred Safe Alternatives: If your child benefits from a tactile tool, we highly recommend sending quiet, solid options that cannot pop, such as:
Calm Strips (textured sensory stickers)
Kneaded erasers
Solid foam stress balls
Tangles (interlocking manipulatives)
Thank you for helping us keep our classrooms safe and productive!

Start with Hello Week, September 22-25
Grange Hall is participating in Sandy Hook Promise’s Start with Hello Week, September 22-25. During this week we encourage students to notice when others seem to be isolated or alone and then reach out to include them. We have several activities planned which include reading books, playing games and making a promise to include others. On Friday, September 25th we will wear green to show that we will look out for each other and make everyone feel welcome.
Demin Drive!
Keep bringing your unwanted denim items and drop them in the bin outside of the school. Any denim items, any condition, any color!! PTA will be collecting now through the second week of October. Top 3 schools to collect the most items win a check for the PTA.
