Students may bring in small nonedible items like pencils or stickers to share with everyone, but due to allergies and other restrictions we ask that food items are not brought into class. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
Smart Watches and Cell Phones:
Just a reminder that smart watches and cell phones need to either remain at home or be turned off and stored in student backpacks during the day. Thank you for your help!
Attendance:
As we are getting further into the year, families will start receiving emails and/or text communication regarding attendance. The communication sent from School Status Attend is notification of the total number of days your students has not been present at school. This communication does not indicate excused or unexcused. It is just a total number of missed days. We document excused, unexcused and doctor's notes in our system and use that to determine when or if an attendance meeting needs to be held. If you have any questions regarding your student's attendance, please contact Hendricks.
Reminders for the 2025-2026 School Year:
- If you have any changes to your student's transportation information, please contact the front office.
- Remember that students may only bring water in water bottles to be used in the classroom. Other drinks can be brought for lunch. No soda please!
- If your child will not be at school, please remember to call in to let us know so the absence can be excused. Each student gets up to 10 excused absences each year with no doctor's note. Please contact the office if you have any questions about attendance.
- If questions or concerns arise throughout the year, please do not hesitate to contact Mrs. Tilley, Mrs. Fosnight or your student's teacher. Parents or guardians can submit this application online at https://nutrilinktechnologies.com/products/free-and-reduced/ during Registration or in person at your child’s school office.
