  • We started out the month of March celebrating Dr. Seuss's birthday by reading The Lorax and making READ Banners telling about and illustrating our favorite book.
  • March Madness in our building took place with Mrs. Welch and we read some of those books, like, Farmhouse and Don't Trust Fish.
  • We ended the month by talking about Poetry.
  • We read Chester Van Chime Forgot How to Rhyme and Dogku, then played Poetry Musical Chairs.
  • The next book we read in our poetry unit was Dinothesaurus where we enjoyed some great poems and learned some new facts about dinosaurs.
  • Next week we will read Shel Silverstein poems and try our hand at Book Spine Poetry.
