ELA- Mrs. Forderhase

Progress Report grades include both parts of the Unit One Assessment. All students have the opportunity to improve their grades by reassessing on one or both parts. Students must come see me to be sure they understand what went wrong, then they have the opportunity to study, and come back in for a second visit to actually reassess. This week, students annotated published memoirs looking for techniques and craft moves that stand out in the writing. As always, thank you for encouraging your child to read at home regularly. If you would like to support our classroom library, please visit our class Amazon Wish List.

Science- Mrs. Kenney

This week in science, we continued with our Forces and Interactions Unit. Students watched a video and researched content words for the unit. Then, students completed pendulum labs. Students collected data as evidence to show that change in an object’s motion depends on the sum of the forces on the object and the mass. If you would like to support our classroom projects, we would greatly appreciate donations of duct tape, hot glue sticks, and glue sticks. Thank you!
