Five Good Things in Spring
November 2, 2025
Not even stormy skies could stop the smiles at Dekaney High School as families came together for the district's first-ever Spring ISD Showcase! ☔💚
Families pedaled smoothie bikes, explored career pathways, and discovered the incredible opportunities that make Spring ISD shine. The day was a true reflection of what makes our district special: unity, pride, and heart. Rain or shine, our community showed up, stood tall, and proved once again that we’re together in culture, together in accountability.
Spring ISD students and staff proudly joined millions across the nation to celebrate Red Ribbon Week, the country’s largest and longest-running drug-prevention campaign. 💪 Observed each year from October 23–31, the week encourages students to make healthy choices, stay drug-free, and lead with positive influence.
Campuses showed their spirit with creative dress-up days, classroom activities, and powerful conversations about responsibility and respect. The message was clear—living drug-free isn’t just a weeklong pledge, it’s a lifelong commitment to health, safety, and success. 🌟
The competition was fierce, but our Spring ISD middle school athletes brought the heat—and the hardware! 🔥 Huge congratulations to the Bammel 7th Grade A and B Teams, the Wells 8th Grade A Team, and the Springwoods Village 8th Grade B Team for capturing their District Championships! Each team showed incredible talent, teamwork, and determination all season long. Way to go, student-athletes—you’ve made your schools and the entire district proud!

His teachers say he’s a true model learner, inspiring his classmates with focus, positivity, and excellence. Way to go, Damian—your hard work is lighting up Cooper ES! 💫
This superstar 4th grader is shining bright with outstanding academics—she’s mastered MAP, math, and reading, all while showing an incredible commitment to learning. Mya’s not just a top student; she’s also a kind and respectful role model who uplifts everyone around her. Keep leading the way, Mya—your positivity and excellence make Meyer Elementary shine!
