Dear NKC Business Partners, Volunteers, and Parents/Guardians,
Greetings! As we approach the spring, an exciting opportunity awaits you to actively shape students' educational journeys in the upcoming months.
Your support is pivotal in preparing our students for success beyond high school. Here's how you can contribute throughout March and April.
We are seeking professionals eager to share insights into their careers, providing juniors with invaluable guidance as they navigate their future paths at our College and Career Fair on Wednesday, April 3rd, from 9:00am-1:00pm. We will have all 1,600 juniors attending the college and career fair this year.
Additionally, we're actively seeking companies interested in hosting student fellows/interns from June 3rd to July 26th. To ensure students gain meaningful work experience, we're asking participating companies to contribute $2500 per student. This amount will be directly paid to the students by the district to support their internship, in addition to providing training and a dedicated fellowship district liaison or coach. Your involvement in this opportunity will greatly benefit our students and contribute to their professional growth. Full details regarding ways to host a career fellow provided here.
