Open House - TONIGHT 9/24!!
6:00pm to 8:00pm
We invite you to join us for an evening of learning and connection! During Open House, you’ll have the opportunity to follow your student’s daily schedule and get a better understanding of what your child is learning and experiencing in the classroom.
What to Expect:
- You will move as a group from class to class, following your student’s schedule.
- Teachers will provide an overview of classroom learning, routines, and expectations.
- This evening is designed to give you a glimpse into your child’s school day.
Please Note: Open House is not a Parent-Teacher Conference. If you have specific questions or concerns about your child, please reach out to the teacher to arrange a separate meeting.
Need a copy of your schedule? Printed schedules will be available for families who are unable to access their student’s schedule through ASPEN. We look forward to welcoming you and giving you a peek into your student’s school experience!
Superintendent's Message
Hull Public Schools is pleased to announce that after an exhaustive search, Mrs. Ellen Murray has accepted the principalship of Hull High School. Her first day in the role will be Monday, November 9th.
Mrs. Murray is currently the Assistant Principal of Norwell Middle School, a role she has held since 2022. Prior to becoming an assistant principal in Norwell, she served as a teacher and leader at Quincy High School. Starting in Quincy in 1999, she taught both Spanish and Italian and served as the chair of the World Language Department. After completing her Master’s Degree in Administration, Policy and Planning at Boston University in 2003, she was promoted to serve Quincy High School as an Assistant Principal from 2008-2022.
A resident of Scituate, Mrs. Murray is familiar with the south shore and the Town of Hull. She is currently enrolled in a Doctoral program at Boston College in Educational Leadership with a Social Justice Lens. Mrs. Murray said “Success takes teamwork, and teaching and learning are maximized when there is a culture of joy, honesty, and support.”
“As a school community, it is important that we structure our resources and efforts to help Mrs. Murray start off strong at Hull High School” said Superintendent of Hull Public Schools Dr. Jette. “We are excited to welcome her as a new member of our school community and look forward to her advancing the work of the faculty and administration.”

Chromebook Questions
What happens if my Chromebook has a low battery during the school day?
Come to the Main Office and plug your Chromebook into the charging station. You may borrow a loaner Chromebook while yours charges, pending availability.
My Chromebook is broken. What do I do?
Bring your Chromebook to the Main Office. Ms. O’Donnell will submit a ticket to IT and issue you another device. The replacement device will become your assigned Chromebook, and you will not receive your original Chromebook back.
Stay Connected With Your Student
As we begin the school year with our new No Electronic Device Policy, we know one question many families have is: “How can I get a message to my student during the school day?”
There are several ways to stay in touch:
Call the Main Office: If you need to reach your student with an important or time-sensitive message, please call the Main Office at 781-925-3000. We will make sure your student receives the message.
Email the Main Office: Please note that Ms. O’Donnell is out of the office until 10/5. In the meantime, please feel free to reach out to Ms. Falletti at tfalletti@hullpublicschools.us, and she’ll be happy to assist you. Beginning 10/5, you can contact Ms. O’Donnell at eodonnell2@hullpublicschools.us. We’re always happy to help make sure your message gets to your student.
Email Your Student Directly: Ask your student for their school email address. You can email them directly, and they will receive the message on their school-issued device.
Google Chat: If you use Gmail, you can also use Google Chat to message your student directly through their school account.
We appreciate your support as we work together to make this new policy a successful transition for our students and families. Our goal is to minimize distractions during the school day while still ensuring that families have reliable ways to communicate when needed.
