K-8 Campus Updates
Greetings Grizzly Families,
The 3rd quarter is quickly winding down. We have launched a few incentives to encourage attendance, positive behavior and academic excellence & ownership for a strong finish of the school year. Please remind and encourage your Grizzly to complete and turn in any and all assignments to their teachers on time, before the quarter ends.
This week our students will participate in the NC Statewide Tornado drill on Wed, March 5th as this week is North Carolina’s Severe Weather Preparedness Week.
See Tornado resources links: Get Weather Ready-Before Tornado,
During a Tornado, After a Tornado
Last week we recognized the following students as BEST Grizzlies. These are students that have been nominated by a CGS staff member for demonstrating not just our school expectations but the quarterly character trait at an exceptional level. Join us as we congratulate our Grizzlies!
Carmen Benitez
Eleanora Hinshaw
Carson McNeil
AB Rodriguez
Abby Little
KJ Perdue
Addie Whittington
Maverick Garrison
Andrew Stanfield
Max Steel
Jakobe Hicks
Landon Strader
Brielle Lewis
Raelyn Wallace
As a reminder- in the afternoon when arriving for dismissal in the K-2 car rider line- please do not pull up past the yellow line on the map below. Use the little "brick" building to the right as your landmark. Do not drive forward past that building. We have students, staff, and athletes crossing the car rider lines in the afternoon to get to where they need to go and we want this to be as safe as possible. Thank you!! If you have any questions, please give us a call.
As always thank you for your support and have a great week! #GrizzlyPride
Thanks,
Mrs. Spencer
K-8 Principal
