Principal's Message

Hello McNair Community,

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who supported our Blood Drive! Because of your generosity, teamwork, and willingness to give, we collected an incredible 133 units of blood — a new record for McNair! 🎉

But the numbers tell an even bigger story:

  • 🩸 133 units collected — our highest total ever!
  • ❤️ 19 donations from African American donors, helping support the fight against Sickle Cell Disease.
  • 🙌 57 first-time donors stepped up to make a difference!

Every donation has the potential to save lives, and together, our McNair community truly showed what it means to give back and make an impact.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who donated, volunteered, helped organize the event, spread the word, and supported our donors. You made this record-breaking achievement possible!

Thank you again for being part of something so meaningful. We can’t wait to see you at our next Blood Drive on December 4th. Let’s see if we can break the record again! 🩸❤️

Have a wonderful week!

Mrs. Nicole Vertar, M. Ed.

To complete ODC:

  1. Go to the Aeries Parent & Student Portal and log in. If you do not have a log in, please follow the prompts to create an account. If you need assistance with this, please call our school's office.

  2. Once logged in, if you have not completed the ODC a pink banner will appear across the top of your screen prompting you to complete the process. Follow the prompts and select "Finish and Submit" to finalize the data confirmation.

If you need clarity on the above steps, or would like to see screenshots, please view this document or call our school's office.

Every completed confirmation helps our school stay connected with families and better equips us to support students. Thank you for partnering with us and helping us start the year strong!

Be Present: Cell Phone Policy Reminder

Phones down, heads up. Creating connections in the classroom.

As we settle back into the routines of school, please help us remind your children that their phones should be put away during school. During school hours, campuses are a "no phone zone" and students will be expected to keep their phones off and put away.

This initiative is designed to support a more focused learning environment while encouraging real, in-person connection outside of the digital world. For more information and answers to frequently asked questions, please visit www.lodiusd.net/be-present.
