On June 10th, the William Tennent Robotics Team traveled to Harrisburg under the invitation of State Representative Brian Munroe to be introduced on the House floor. Representative Munroe has been working to secure a grant for the team and wanted to acknowledge the team's hard work towards qualifying for the District Championship. After being introduced on the House Floor, the team gave a demonstration in the Capitol building for those in attendance. They were then escorted around the building for a tour. The grant Representative Munroe has been working on will help the team develop more in-house manufacturing opportunities and more community outreach opportunities. We thank him and our business mentor, Ms. Jennifer Taylor for coordinating this acknowledgement. On June 6, 2025, Willow Dale’s 5th graders marked a major milestone during their closing ceremony. Dr. Marren, Mrs. Miele, and the entire Willow Dale team of teachers — including Mrs. Andres, Mr. Capelli, Mrs. DeMarco, Mrs. Gillespie, Mr. Markowski, Mrs. Strenger, Mrs. Stecklein, and Mrs. Wetzel — came together to celebrate the incredible growth and accomplishments of this special class. With a packed house full of parents and families here to support their students, the event was filled with joy, pride, and unforgettable memories. While there were a few tears as students prepared to leave their elementary years behind, it was a wonderful end to a remarkable year!

June 24. CSD School Board Meeting, 7 PM.

On Tuesday, February 25, 2025 the Board of School Directors approved the district calendar for the 2025/2026 school year. I want to thank the committee members for their time and efforts in developing the calendar.

The committee was charged with developing a calendar that maintained a continuity of student learning and continuity of professional learning to improve student learning and growth.
