Children, Youth, & Social Media Book Discussion (open to all!)
Wednesdays November 6th and 20th from 6:30P.M. to 8P.M.
Registration required

Sponsored by the First Congregational Church of Ashfield Mission & Social Justice Committee
Smartphones and social media have changed what childhood and adolescence looks like. We'll be hosting a two-session book group at the library on November 6th and 20th from 6:30 - 8:00 PM. The group will be reading The Anxious Generation by Dr. Jonathan Haidt and using it as a jumping-off point for a discussion about young people's use of social media and its impact on their wellbeing and development. Everyone who signs up will receive a free copy of the book, donated by the FIrst Congregational Church. We encourage caregivers, educators, and young adults to join the discussion– we want your perspective!
