Week #2 Week #2

If you don't go after what you want, you'll never have it. If you don't ask, the answer is always no. If you don't step forward, you're always in the same place.

- Nora Roberts, author

Principal's Update

September is under way. It's nice to see all the programs back to work.

As part of the Keystone PDE requirement, all new students must complete an OSHA-10 hour certification. Our instructors are or will be starting this certification in the classroom.

Coming up in the next few weeks is the NOCTI pre-testing for our Seniors. Seniors will complete the testing in one class session at WMCTC.

Be sure to see what's coming up in September in the information below.

Have a happy and safe weekend

Craig Robinson, Principal

From our Guidance Office From our Guidance Office

Mrs. Landis and Ms. Powers will be going into programs the next couple weeks to complete Career Objective Forms with all students. This state-required form is completed yearly. Students will be bringing the form home for Parent/Guardian signature. Please be sure to review/sign and return form. Our goal is to have them all completed and returned by the end of September.

**Year 1 students may have already completed this form during New Student Orientation.**

**NEW From Attendance** **NEW From Attendance**

Great News! You do NOT have to call the attendance line at WMCTC to call out a student who is absent!

Instead of calling, please email attendance@westerncenter.org to tell us about your student's absence. Please make sure you include your student's full name and a reason for the absence as outlined in our student handbook. You only need to call the attendance line if you have questions regarding your student's attendance record.
