⭐First Full Week ⭐
Dear Panther Families,
As we gear up for our first full 5-day week, we are excited to keep our positive momentum going strong! Tomorrow, September 8th, marks an exciting day as we warmly welcome our PEEP students for their very first day. Our PEEP teachers are ready to greet these students with open arms and big smiles!
We’re also thrilled to invite everyone to our Open House this Thursday from 5:00–6:30 PM. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet your child’s teachers, explore classrooms, and learn more about the great year ahead. More details are included below.
Picture Day is Coming!
We have split picture days into two mornings for convenience:
- September 18th (8:44 AM – Noon): PEEP students and 3rd through 5th grade
- September 19th (8:44 AM – Noon): Kindergarten through 2nd grade
Please mark your calendars to ensure your child looks their best for this special day!
Volunteer Background Check Information
We love having volunteers who support our school community in so many ways—field trips, Popcorn Fridays, Panther Prowl Fundraiser, library restocking, classroom reading, and more! To keep all our students safe, volunteers entering the building where students are present must have a background check on file.
Attached below is detailed information about the background check process. Forms are available in the office if you’re interested in becoming an approved volunteer. Once approved, the background check is valid for 6 months before needing renewal. Please don’t hesitate to contact us with any questions!
Here’s to another amazing week of learning, growth, and community!
Warmly,
Principal Jessica Rosecrans

Dismissal Reminders
Dismissal and Limiting Disruptions:
As we get into our back to school routine, everyone is working so hard to help our dismissal run smoothly. Be mindful not to block driveways or intersections in our neighborhood. Not only is this illegal, it can be really upsetting to those who live near by. We are such a great community and neighborhood school. We want to model good citizenship values for our students. Thank you so much for your support with this over the first two weeks!
We still need help limiting disruptions during class instruction time and dismissal time. This really affects students' academic achievement and the success of our classrooms. Ways you can help support our office staff, classroom teachers, and students' learning, is by limiting the frequency that we pull students out of class to visit with parents in the office. As well as limiting picking students up from the office between 3:20-3:50. We ask that if you are picking up your child early you arrive before 3:20. If you are picking up after 3:20 we ask that you do not come in the office, but rather meet your child at their designated dismissal location. Feel free to reach out to your child's teacher if you have specific dismissal questions.
