We’re launching our school fundraiser to support a major campus improvement project. Funds raised will go toward building a $17,000 fence to secure our cafeteria and create a new outdoor seating/play area.
We haven’t had a fundraiser in two years — let’s make this one count!

If you plan to attend field trips or help out on campus, you must be an approved volunteer.

🎯 Claywell Elementary Fundraiser: Let’s Build Something Great Together! 🛠️

Claywell families — it’s time for our big school fundraiser, and we’re excited to bring back a tradition that’s been on pause for the past two years!

This year’s fundraiser is all about goal setting, movement, and fun — and the best part? We’ve negotiated a much better return on our time and effort, meaning more of the profits go directly to our school.

💡 Our Goal: $17,000 for a New Fence & Outdoor Space!
We’re raising funds to build a fence that will:

• Secure our cafeteria area by preventing public cut-throughs on campus.
• Create an outdoor seating and play space where students can enjoy lunch and fresh air during the cooler months.

This project will make a lasting impact on our campus, and we’re aiming to complete it within the next couple of months — but we need your help to get there!

💪 We Can Do This, Claywell Community!
You’ve always come through when we’ve asked, and we’re counting on your support again. Whether it’s a donation, participation, or simply spreading the word — every bit helps.

Let’s make this happen for our students and staff. Together, we can build something amazing!

Below is a little fundraiser the kids really liked last year. It is no cost to you. Next Friday we will send home the information. The students will get a passport. More information to come this Friday. Please be on the look out. There is no charge to you. This is simply a fun way for our school to get money and for your kids to get one of these animal bracelets. The kids absolutely loved them last year.

9-9 Fourth Grade Math FAST Test- Very important for them to be here and on time.

9-10- Fifth grade Math FAST Test for fifth graders. Very important for them to be here on time.

9-10- Mrs. Sanford's birthday- Social Worker 🎂

9-11- Mr. Niebel's birthday- 3rd grade teacher 🎂

9-15- Progress reports sent home and Conference requests may be sent out.

9-18- Parent ELL Night- 5 PM- Park in the Northdale parking lot and we will let you into the Media Center.

9-19- First Cougars with Character- We pick one student from each class that exemplifies our character word for that month. They get a certificate, donut, and we celebrate them.

Grandparents breakfast was very successful. The two days were filled with smiling faces. Our students and grandparents had a magical time. It is one of our favorite parts of the year at Claywell. Thank you for sharing your family with us. We have tons of pictures below and we really appreciate all the support. Our PTA did an outstanding job organizing the event and getting donations from our community. I cannot say enough about the organization and effort from our PTA to make these moments happen.

We are very happy to partner with the Univerisity of South Florida working with us all day on Wednesdays. After Thanksgiving they will be with us everyday until the holiday break. We are very excited and fortunate to help these interns become teachers. Welcome to Claywell and good luck.
