Radez News & Updates
MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL
Dear Families,
As we enter the month of December, I want to take a moment to reflect on the wonderful progress our students have made so far this year. This time of year brings a special energy to our school—one filled with excitement, curiosity, and a strong sense of community. I am grateful for the partnership we share in supporting each child’s growth academically, socially, and emotionally.
December is a busy month, and we will be engaging students in meaningful learning experiences while also celebrating the joys of the season. Please keep an eye out for classroom updates, upcoming events, and reminders from your child’s teacher. Your involvement and communication continue to make a positive difference.
As winter break approaches, I encourage everyone to take time to rest, recharge, and enjoy moments with family and friends. We look forward to welcoming our students back in January, ready for a strong start to the new year.
Please be sure to check our school website, newsletters, and communication platforms regularly for updates, events, and ways to get involved. As always, thank you for your continued support and involvement. Warmest wishes for a joyful and peaceful holiday season!
Warmest wishes,
Jodi Coppolo

Breakfast and Lunch Menus (click on picture)
School Breakfast/Lunch Program:
Cobleskill-Richmondville Central School District has been approved to participate in the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP), funded by the USDA, which allows all students to eat one breakfast and one lunch at school each day at no charge.
A breakfast consists of four components and a lunch consists of five components. For both breakfast and lunch, three components must be chosen and one must be a fruit or vegetable.
Thank you for your continued support of C-R's Food Service Program, a vital ingredient in your child's education and well being.
If you have any questions or need assistance, please feel free to contact the Radez Cafeteria at 518-294-6621 ext. 4126.
Attendance
Missing school for any amount of time can and will have a negative impact on your scholar's learning, achievement, and grades. When your child must be absent, be sure to let us know the reason for the absences. For absences, we ask for a written note upon your child's return to school.
Helpful Tips:
Important: If you need to pick your child up early from school for an appointment, please send a note with your child to school. The note gives your permission for the change and must include: the reason, the date, usual bus number and the name of the person who will be picking up the child, etc. In the event that you need to call a dismissal change in for your student(s), please follow up with an email to Main Office Secretary (mcdonaldh@crcsd.org). The District policy does not permit phone calls to the school for transportation changes. When you arrive, please ring the doorbell at the main entrance and your child will be brought outside to you for you to sign them out.
- Sample Transportation Change Note: “10/19/24 - Dear Classroom Teacher: I will pick up my son, William Blank, at 1:00 p.m. today, 10/19/24 to go to the dentist. He will not ride bus 13. Thank you, Mrs. Blank” (Be sure to include your child’s first and last name.)
