This week at PIC we were busy as usual. Students practiced a lockdown drill this week with the assistance of Will County Police. After our drill, students had the opportunity to ask questions to Will County Deputy Officer Jerz. I was so impressed with their thoughtful questions. Additionally this week, Candor Health came out to teach their Puberty 1 presentation to the fifth graders. Again, I was impressed with how mature and attentive our fifth graders were. Speaking of fifth graders, we have a field trip to the Irons Oaks Adventure Center in October. Permission slips will be sent home on Monday. Last, if you still have not filled out the popcorn/popsicle permission slip form, please do.

Have a wonderful fall weekend,

Principal Jennifer Tekiela
