Battle of the Books
Battle of the Books at LTE for the 2026-2027 School Year
Instill the love of reading and promote dialogue and understanding around great books! Battle of the Books (BOTB) is organized by Douglas County Libraries, and parent volunteers collaborate with our staff to run this very active and successful program at Lone Tree Elementary. This is an invaluable opportunity for students in grades 3rd - 5th to read, engage in fun activities and conversations about books, and culminate their experience by competing in game-show-style battles.
Organizers
Thanks to our lead staff member, Megan Koonce, and our lead parent organizer, Erika Miller.
