EPIC is living up to its name—because what’s rising here isn’t just a building🏗️✨

Steel erection in Area D kicked off this month, adding 102 tons to the project’s 2,000+ tons of structural steel. While it’s a smaller section, it plays a huge role—it will house the building’s main mechanical rooms.

This space is where the building truly comes to life, containing critical systems like the break tank (which supplies water for both sprinklers and daily use) along with major equipment, including switchgears, fire pumps, and chilled and hot water systems that power the HVAC.

Getting this area completed is a key step toward permanent power and air conditioning startup—bringing EPIC one step closer to being fully operational.

Piece by piece, beam by beam—Spring High School is becoming a reality, so what's new? 🚧✨

Crews have officially completed the piers in the pool area—now they will be working on grade beams, followed by the final slab placements that will bring these spaces to life.

Structural steel is going up at the entrance of the 9th Grade Center, creating a bold front-facing presence, while steel on the main high school side is advancing into the cafeteria and academic wing—defining the spaces where students will learn, gather, and grow.

The first slab on metal deck for the high school side is scheduled for this week, marking another major milestone as construction moves vertically. At the same time, exterior sheathing has begun, starting to close in the building and give it a more finished look—soon expanding into the administration area as additional concrete work wraps up.

Anderson Elementary: Generator pad completed to prepare for the new generator (pictured above).

Westfield High School (pictured below), Heritage Elementary School, Hirsch Elementary School, Twin Creeks Middle School, the Transportation Building and Richey Academy all completed their generator installation over Spring Break.

These upgrades strengthen each campus’ ability to stay operational during outages—supporting safety, comfort, and continuity for students and staff.
