BHS in collaboration with the In A Heartbeat Foundation and Always 65 offered free heart screenings this past Tuesday to all interested student-athletes. BHS is happy to announce that 60 of our student-athletes were screened in a protective measure to prevent death from sudden cardiac arrest. Each week, sudden cardiac death claims the lives of more than 60 young adults in the United States. This was a huge event for our student-athletes who took the steps to ensure that they are heart healthy.
