Principal's Message
Hello Pacific Drive Families!
We made it through the first week! It has been an incredibly smooth week and we appreciate all of your help with safe drop offs and timely student dismissals throughout the week. Thank you!
On Monday we are starting our new Breakfast in the classroom program. Please read the letter below about the program. This will begin Monday August 17th and provide all of our students with the opportunity to eat breakfast during the first 15 to 20 minutes of the school day in the classroom, instead of outside prior to the day beginning. Breakfast is still, of course, a voluntary option for our students, but it is important for us that all students have the opportunity to have a nutritious meal before the school day gets going. This opportunity is specific to school breakfast meals, so breakfast meals from home should be eaten at home, not in the classroom. Please do not send students with breakfast from home.
We hope you can join us for our annual Back to School Night next Thursday, August 20th. Stop by early to support PTA food sales, and see our Nutrition Services Team at their table for any questions you have about Breakfast In The Classroom. Check out the fliers below for more information.
