Greetings Park Families,

We have begun our second marking period and our students are hard at work learning new things. We have a busy month ahead of us as we will be hosting our wellness and literacy night on This Thursday November 13 from 5:30 - 7:30pm. We also will be having parent teacher conferences On Monday November 24th and Tuesday November 25th. We look forward to seeing you at these events.

Hemos comenzado nuestro segundo trimestre y nuestros alumnos están aprendiendo con mucho empeño. Nos espera un mes lleno de actividades, ya que este jueves 13 de noviembre, de 5:30 p. m. a 7:30 p. m., celebraremos nuestra noche de bienestar y alfabetización. También tendremos reuniones de padres y maestros el lunes 24 y el martes 25 de noviembre. Esperamos verlos en estos eventos.

Staffing

Due to our increase in enrollment we have earned an additional unit. We will have a new 1st grade teacher beginning in December which will allow the class sizes to be smaller. We also have a new social worker who will begin in December as well. She will help with counseling our students and providing assistance to our families.

Personal

Debido al aumento de la matrícula, hemos conseguido un puesto adicional. Contaremos con una nueva maestra de primer grado a partir de diciembre, lo que permitirá reducir el tamaño de las clases. También tendremos una nueva trabajadora social que se incorporará en diciembre. Ella brindará apoyo psicológico a nuestros alumnos y asistencia a las familias.

Special Olympics

Congratulations to Ms. Damiani and Ms. Kaczewski for being recognized for their work with Special Olympics. Special Olympics' of Delaware will be presenting the school with the banner since we have earned the title of being an Unified Champion School in Delaware for 2025-2029 for our inclusive activities and club.

Olimpiadas Especiales

Felicitaciones a la Sra. Damiani y a la Sra. Kaczewski por el reconocimiento a su labor con las Olimpiadas Especiales. Las Olimpiadas Especiales de Delaware entregarán a la escuela el estandarte, ya que hemos obtenido el título de Escuela Campeona Unificada de Delaware para el período 2025-2029 por nuestras actividades y club inclusivos.

Parent/Teacher Conferences

Conferences will be held on Monday November 24th and Tuesday November 25th. Please reach out to your child's teacher to set up an appointment for a conference.

PTO/ Parent Teacher Organization

The Richardson Park PTO is looking for members. PTO meetings will be held via zoom the first Wednesday of each month at 6:00pm. The zoom link will be sent out on the Remind App.

Report Cards and Progress Book

• Grades K to 3 progress book report cards will be sent home for Marking Periods 1-3. Final report cards will be mailed. Progress Book parent portal will open November 18th. Parents will be emailed log in information.

• Grades 4 to 12 will be digital for MP1 to MP3. Final report cards will be both mailed and digital in the IC portal.

• IEP progress will continue to be printed.
