This Week at Wright
Week of February 3rd-7th- 2025
๐ฃHello Families!
I hope you all had a wonderful weekend!
I attended the Regional Spelling Bee at USC Upstate to cheer on our School Spelling Bee Winner, Aaron Patton. We had a great time and Aaron did a great job! A HUGE Shoutout to his family and all they did to make sure Aaron was present and prepared.
We are kicking off a campaign to BEAT THE BELL! Please get your child to school on time each day.
You received an email from Superintendent Stevens regarding our two Teacher Professional Development Days on February 14th and March 14th. The only change is that your children will have two eLearning Days.
Teachers will send work home for them to complete, and they will have two days after we return to school to submit the work in order to be counted as present. These make-up days are very important. Having eLearning Days will provide them with activities to do while at home, which will help us avoid making up days at the end of the year.
Please ensure your child completes the assigned work because we want everyone to be counted as present. Your child's teacher will communicate the times they will be available on both days if you have questions or need assistance. Thank you for your understanding.
We will also continue ML testing this week, so please make sure your child arrives at school on time every day.
Have a fabulous week! I appreciate all of you.
