December PEACE Project
The Joneses are a family from Weymouth. They have been living here for four years.
Dad, Jonathan, is a chef and works at “Rivershed” restaurant, in Braintree. He also loves fishing and sci-fi movies.
Mom, Libby, is originally from Mexico. She’s a nanny and loves taking her kids to the playgrounds and teaching them Spanish.
Their daughter Alana, is an active almost 3-year-old who loves to come to the library and make new friends.
Libby will be reading "Twas Nochebuena". This story follows a family as they prepare to host a night filled with laughter, love, and Latino tradition. Make tasty tamales and hang colorful adornos (decorations) on the walls. Gather to sing festive canciones (songs) while sipping champurrado (hot chocolate).
Table Time Activity: The children will make brightly colored paper poinsettias
