Bluejacket Blueprint: Support
July 29, 2026
Dear Bluejacket Families,
As we prepare for the new school year, accurate contact information, address, transportation, and health information helps our teams plan services, reach families quickly and provide the right support when it is needed. The reminders below will help ensure your student’s records are ready for the first day of school.
🚌 Address Update Deadline for Transportation
As we work to establish school transportation routes and update our student records, it’s important that we have the most up-to-date information for your family. Please log into the updated Skyward Family Access to Verify Your Student information if you haven’t done so already.
Our Transportation Office uses this information to create routes and contact families about changes or emergency situations.
✅Address Change
✅Phone Numbers
✅Email Addresses
If your address has changed since last school year or you expect it to change soon, please update it while completing Student Information Verification. If you have already completed the verification process, you can update your address by replying to this email or calling us at 763-689-6188. Summer office hours are Monday through Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Offices are closed on Fridays.
Address changes must be received by August 10 for transportation service to begin on the first day of school.
Update Health Information in Skyward
If you haven’t already done so, please make sure your student's health, family, and emergency contact information are updated by completing your Student Information Verification in Skyward Family Access or by contacting your school's health office. This information is critical for our school health services staff.
Immunizations
Minnesota law requires children enrolled in child care, early childhood education, or school to be immunized against certain diseases, unless the child is exempt. Please take a moment to review your child's immunization records and ensure that they have received the necessary vaccines. Most children are due for a vaccine when entering Kindergarten, grade 7 and grade 12. Please review your child’s records and contact your healthcare provider or school nurse with questions.
Medications
If your child requires any medications during school hours, please make sure to complete the Authorization for Medication (Policy 516) form. All medication, including both prescription and over-the-counter medications, must be accompanied by signed parent or legal guardian consent.
not hesitate to contact your health office.
When do I keep my student home?
Maintaining a healthy environment within our school community is a shared responsibility. We kindly request that you keep your child at home if they are experiencing any of the following symptoms:
Vomiting or Diarrhea
Fever of 100°F or higher
Suspected ringworm or impetigo
Suspicious looking rash and a temperature above 99.4°F
Injury causing inability to function due to pain or impairment
Family circumstances causing significant emotional distress that affects their ability to attend school
When can students return to school after illness?
Fever-free for 24 hours, without the use of fever-reducing medications
Free of vomiting or diarrhea for at least 24 hours
We understand that missing school can be disruptive, but their health and the well-being of others in our community is a priority. We have measures in place to support students in catching up on missed work and assignments upon their return. If your child is absent due to illness, please notify the school office as soon as possible. Absences may be reported in Skyward Family Access, on the Skyward Family Access mobile App, or by calling your student's school.
Our dedicated team of Licensed School Nurses and Health Administrative Assistants are available to answer questions and support your student’s health throughout the school year. We closely monitor health conditions and collaborate with local health authorities to implement best practices for disease prevention and control.
Thank you for your cooperation and partnership in maintaining a healthy school community. If you have any further questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact your health office.
