Hello to all of our fellow GKC School Counselors! We are so excited to welcome you to the 23-24 school year! I don't know about you, but this is one of my most favorite times of the year- the excitement in the air is so refreshing! We hope that you are settling into your routine of serving students, staff and families.
Your GKCSCA Board has met this summer already and started planning some exciting events and opportunities. We cannot wait to share with you! We also are planning on some GKCSCA swag- be on the lookout for that, if you are interested! Our Board has grown by a few positions this year, we will be introducing our new members very soon! We have been planning our 1st PD event of the school year!
We are excited about the opportunities that MSCA is offering with the Fall Conference, and of course the BIG one- ASCA's summer conference in KANSAS CITY!! p.s. the hospitality rooms will be back again this year at MSCA! Whoop whoop! More information will be available as they get closer.
We look forward to collaborating and networking with you this year! Remember in this super busy time that you are important and valued by so many people- do not forget to take care of yourself.
