Construction Alert

Dear Fairfax Families,

Today, we learned that the City of Cleveland Heights will be performing street work on roads surrounding Fairfax Elementary. The work is expected to begin tomorrow.

I am working directly with city officials to gather as much information as possible about the project, including how it may impact arrival and dismissal. As part of our partnership with the City, we are requesting that construction work be suspended from 8:00–9:00 AM and 3:00–4:00 PM to help support a safe and efficient drop-off and pick-up process for our families.

Please plan to allow additional time for both arrival and dismissal while this work is taking place. School begins at 8:45 AM, and dismissal begins at 3:25 PM. Traffic patterns and travel times may be impacted by the construction.

We will continue to communicate with city officials and will provide you with additional information as soon as it becomes available.
