LifeLeader School Rules - Growing Leaders of Character
During the first six weeks of school, we’re introducing our LifeLeader School Rules to help students grow as leaders of strong character. Every two weeks, we’ll focus on one of the three school rules, reinforcing positive behaviors that support our mission.
We invite you to partner with us by asking your child how they are demonstrating these school rules both at school and at home.

Paving the Way for College Success
Preparing for college might seem like a distant goal, but every step your child takes now contributes to their future readiness. Understanding college readiness encompasses academics, extracurriculars, and financial planning, and we're here to guide you through the process. At Life School, our commitment to Information Literacy means we will efficiently and accurately locate, evaluate, utilize and communicate information to achieve a goal.
We ask that families exhibit information literacy by reading/engaging with campus and classroom communication and reviewing your student’s attendance and grades weekly in Parent Portal. By staying informed and engaged, you help pave the way for your child's success.
Our district offers a wealth of resources to support your family, including counseling services, workshops, and information on post-graduation options, FAFSA, and scholarships. Your involvement as an equal partner in the learning journey is invaluable.
Practicing Citizenship and Supporting Life School in Duncanville
We want to extend our heartfelt thank you to the parents, staff, and students who demonstrated true LifeLeader Citizenship by actively participating in the advocacy process surrounding Life School’s recent Duncanville City Council permit application. Those of you who sent emails, made phone calls, attended meetings, and were willing to speak publicly made a meaningful impact. Your engagement not only supported Life School but also served as a powerful example of civic responsibility in action.
We are proud to stand alongside a community so committed to making their voices heard and advocating for our shared mission.

Visitor Policy
As students return to campus, we want parents to feel welcome on campus. Throughout the year, parents are encouraged to schedule times to volunteer, observe in classrooms and eat lunch with their students. All visitors must use the main entrance of campuses and have their ID with them. Before visiting campus, please take some time to familiarize yourself with Life School’s Visitor Policy (found on page 62 of the Life School Handbook).
