Buffalo Bulletin!

The second half of October is shaping up to be a busy and exciting time at Stanton Elementary! We have many important school and community events taking place, along with opportunities for our students to learn, grow, and celebrate. As we move through the next few weeks, please be sure to watch for important information regarding report cards, tutorials, Safety Week lessons, parent-teacher conferences, and upcoming school and community events. We encourage families to stay connected through ParentSquare and regularly check your child’s backpack for notes and information from school. Our students are working hard, and we appreciate your continued partnership in supporting their learning and success. Thank you for helping us keep students focused, attending school regularly, completing their work, and practicing safe and responsible choices. There is a lot happening at Stanton, and we are excited for all that is ahead! Thank you for being such an important part of our school community. Go Buffs!

¡La segunda quincena de octubre se perfila como una etapa muy activa y emocionante en la escuela primaria Stanton! Tenemos programados diversos eventos escolares y comunitarios importantes, además de ofrecer a nuestros alumnos múltiples oportunidades para aprender, crecer y celebrar. Durante las próximas semanas, les pedimos estar atentos a información relevante sobre boletas de calificaciones, sesiones de apoyo académico (tutoriales), actividades de la Semana de la Seguridad, conferencias entre padres y maestros, y otros eventos escolares y comunitarios. Invitamos a las familias a mantenerse conectadas a través de ParentSquare y a revisar con frecuencia la mochila de sus hijos, donde podrán encontrar notas e información enviada por la escuela. Nuestros estudiantes se están esforzando mucho, y valoramos enormemente su colaboración constante para apoyar su aprendizaje y su éxito. Fall is upon us and you know what that means.... The Annual Stanton Elementary Pumpkin Decorating Contest!! PK-2 may bring their pumpkin Oct. 12-16.
(Don't worry 3-5, your contest will be held at the end of the month).

Mad Scientist Day will be held on October 30, 2026. Students will explore science skills. Your child can dress up as a "mad scientist," but please DO NOT wear a Halloween costume of any kind.

El Día del Científico Loco se celebrará el 30 de octubre de 2026. Los estudiantes explorarán habilidades científicas. Su hijo puede disfrazarse de "científico loco", pero, por favor, NO use ningún tipo de disfraz de Halloween.

Attached you will find TTU first monthly Parent newsletter of this year focused on getting back to school. The goal with the newsletter is to provide mental health education, valuable resources, tips, and support to help families.

Adjunto encontrará el primer boletín mensual de TTU para padres de este año, centrado en el regreso a clases. El objetivo de este boletín es brindar educación sobre salud mental, recursos valiosos, consejos y apoyo para ayudar a las familias.

Starting this month, TTUHS is also hosting a webinar for parents the second Thursday of the month. The series is called Proactive Parenting. Our first one of the year will be next Thursday on October 8th from 12-12:50. The series is designed to help parents understand mental health and have practical strategies and tools to utilize with their children around well-being. Attached are the topics for the upcoming sessions of the series.

A partir de este mes, TTUHS también organizará un seminario web para padres el segundo jueves de cada mes. La serie se titula "Proactive Parenting" (Crianza Proactiva). La primera sesión del año tendrá lugar el próximo jueves, 8 de octubre, de 12:00 a 12:50 p. m.
