School officially starts on Tuesday, September 2nd, full-time for all students in grades 1 to 6.

Pre-Kindergarten (K4) and Kindergarten (K5) students will be starting the school year following a progressive entry schedule. Please refer to the letter that was sent to you, regarding progressive entry and which group your child is in. All preschool students will be in on the 5th day of school, which is Monday, September 8th. In order to ensure that everyone finds their teachers and grade levels easily, we are asking the children to participate in a colourful activity for their first day of school. Each grade level will be asked to wear an accessory (hat, hair accessory, scarf, bracelet, etc.) that matches the colour of their grade level:

We wish to advise you that parents and visitors must report to the office upon arrival at school, using the main door (Door A). Parents are not permitted to circulate in the school or in the schoolyard.

It is very important to note that any changes to your child’s end of day dismissal or method of transportation must be communicated to the school by calling the office secretary prior to 12:40 p.m. No pick-up changes are permitted after 12:40 p.m.

To help alleviate your child's end of day stress, please make sure to inform your child about their method of dismissal (ex. bus #, pick-up, or daycare).

Buses enter the bus zone in the morning and after school. For safety purposes, cars and students may not enter this area.

Morning drop-off:

As of 9:05 a.m., cars are not to be parked in the daycare parking, as it will be used as a kiss-and-drop area.

All students who are being dropped-off from the kiss-and-drop area, will enter the building using the daycare door. This will help with the flow of cars in the morning.

All parents who wish to walk their child(ren) to the gate door, must park on the streets (not in the daycare lane or the staff parking, as we have limited space for staff). Please remember that all streets around the build are two-way streets, and there must be sufficient space between both parked cars on the street for busses to pass.

Afternoon Pick-up:

Parents can park in the daycare parking or the streets, and must come to the pick-up gate. The teacher on duty will only allow the students to leave with their parent, once they have made contact with the adult picking up the child.

Picture day will be on September 11th.

Retakes & Sibling pictures will be on October 16th.

All students must bring their own utensils from home, whether they are ordering a catered lunch or bring lunch/snacks from home. They must also bring a reusable water bottle. We will not be providing cups or utensils.
