Pierce School Weekly Newsletter

Our old playground has been officially removed, and our new playground is in the process of being installed! Please do not play in the playground at Pierce School due to safety concerns until the construction is over.

We also ask that families do not park in our school parking lot until the construction is complete. We hope for the playground construction to be finished by the end of next week, 11/15/24.

During this time, students will have indoor Walking Club in the mornings, and alternative recess during the day, but will not be permitted on the playground. Thank you for all of your support to get us to this point, it is going to be incredible for all of the kids!

On Thursday, November 14th, 2nd and 3rd-grade students from Pierce School will visit the Currier Museum of Art in Manchester, NH. Through a grant with the Lincoln Foundation, this field trip has been paid for completely by the Currier Museum of Art, and we are so lucky to be receiving this honor to attend the museum! Last year, students in 3rd and 4th grade were able to attend and saw works of Picasso!

Please complete the permission slip and accompanying Health Form and return it by Tuesday, November 12th, so your student can attend the field trip.

Open House at Crotched Mountain to register in person, get fitted for rental equipment and ask any questions will be held on Wednesday, November 13th from 5-7pm.
