The Importance of Sleep

All students in grades 3-12 were asked how they felt about school. When talking to our Cooper kids about this, we heard many students share about how tired they are and how hard it is to get up in the morning. This caused us to have some good conversations about the importance of sleep and sleep routines. Getting consistent good sleep is one of the single most important things for all people, especially kids. It has an effect on our thinking, our health, our interactions with others, and our emotions. Please check out the resources below to learn more about sleep hygiene and how to help your kids get the best sleep they can.

Graphic that explains benefits of sleep including better mental health, rapid muscle toning, safer driving, improved productivity, reduced risk of diabetes, lower stress levels, healthier skin, enhanced memory, fewer headaches, stronger immune system.
