Selma Families,

Thank You for Another Wonderful Week!

Attendance Success! 🎉
We’re thrilled to share that on October 2, Selma Middle reached an all-time high attendance rate of 97%! Parents, thank you for making this possible by ensuring students arrive on time and ready to learn each morning. Your dedication makes a real difference, and we’re proud of the teamwork between our families, students, and staff.

A Message from Administration 💫
At Selma Middle, we truly have the best students—and we believe in their potential to grow, lead, and break every record!

This year, we’re challenging every student to Learn More, Do More, and Be More.
To reach that goal, students are encouraged to:
✅ Show up on time each morning, ready to learn.
✅ Commit to growing by being fully engaged in class.
✅ Take responsibility for their own learning and choices.

When our students bring their best effort, positive attitude, and determination each day, there’s no limit to what they can achieve. Let’s keep motivating them to display outstanding effort, positive behavior, and a strong commitment to learning. Together, we can make this our best school year yet!

Custodian Appreciation Day 💙
This week, we proudly celebrated Custodian Appreciation Day! Our custodial team works tirelessly to keep our school clean, safe, and welcoming for every student and staff member. Please join us in saying thank you to these amazing individuals for all they do behind the scenes every single day.

What’s Your Student’s After-School Routine?

Establishing a consistent routine after school helps students balance rest, responsibilities, and growth. Take a moment to review your child’s schedule when they get home. Does it include time for:
🕒 Relaxation – A short break to unwind after a busy day.
📚 Homework & Growth – Focused time for assignments or extra reading practice.
🍽️ Dinner & Family Connection – A chance to talk about the day and recharge.
🌙 Bedtime Routine – Consistent rest ensures they’re ready to learn the next morning.

Strong routines build responsible, confident learners—thank you for partnering with us to help every SeMS student Learn More, Do More, and Be More!
