We need your help: Growing GLOBE's impact for students
Dear GLOBE community,
What do new laptops, upgraded facilities, and more opportunities for teachers, language assistants, and students have in common? They start with strong funding, and we need your help.
We are looking for volunteers to join our Development Committee of our Board of Directors to support the Annual Fund and GLOBE Trot. No fundraising experience is required, and even a one-time 30-minute commitment can help us make good progress against our goals.
We especially need volunteers with Event Planning, Fundraising and Development, Excel, and Data Management experience. Please reach out to the Board's Development Chairs to get involved or for more information.
- Annual Fund: Our biggest fundraiser each year, Annual Fund is the primary way to support our school. These funds are flexible and unrestricted, allowing us to address our most pressing needs. The 2025-2026 Annual Fund goal is to raise $150,000 with 100% participation from GLOBE families.
- GLOBE Trot is a school-wide fun run for our whole community. What separates this annual event is the chance for students to participate directly in the fundraising fun. Save the date now for this year's GLOBE Trot on Friday, November 14.
At GLOBE, our future is homegrown
As a public charter school, The GLOBE Academy receives no public funding through SPLOST, like traditional public schools, for capital projects and facilities maintenance. We rely on the generous support and involvement of our families and local sponsors to continue providing exceptional learning experiences for our students. Please reach out to the Board's Development Chairs to get involved or for more information.
In community,
The GLOBE Academy's Board of Directors
