Are You Getting the Most Out of ParentVue?
ParentVUE: it’s one of the easiest ways to stay connected to your student’s school experience. Families can monitor grades and assignments, check attendance, find bus information, access report cards and assessment results, complete online registrations and communicate directly with teachers.
Download the new ParentVue app, customize your Gradebook and favorite shortcuts, and check ParentVUE regularly. You can even schedule parent-teacher conferences directly through the app. And remember: each parent or guardian should use their own ParentVUE account and password.

Grade Level Messages - PE & Health
Students are active in their new sports rotations, developing teamwork and sport-specific skills across soccer, ultimate frisbee, pickleball, and floor hockey.
What is one sport-specific skill you are working on right now that felt challenging at first but is starting to make sense? How does getting better at that individual skill change the way you are able to support your team during a game?

Student Attendance
Parents or guardians should handwrite or email student excuse notes to Ms. Patricia Hernandez, Argyle's attendance secretary. Phone calls will not excuse any absences until a note has been turned in to the main office.
If you have any questions or need to email an excuse note, please get in touch with Argyle's attendance secretary Mrs. Patricia Hernandez at patricia_v_hernandez@mcpsmd.org

ParentVUE Update - Attendance by Parents
Argyle families can now report all-day absences directly through ParentVUE and upload supporting documentation when needed. Please remember, ParentVUE is ONLY for all-day absences—not tardies or early dismissals. For tardies, early dismissals, or absences that don’t fit the available codes, please contact Mrs. Patricia Hernandez at Patricia_V_Hernandez@mcpsmd.org or 240-740-6370. When submitting an absence, please include a brief note in the Comments section.

Dismissal Policy at Argyle MS
Any requests for early dismissal or dismissal changes for your child cannot be accommodated after 2:45 PM. This cut-off time is necessary to ensure the safety and efficient operation of our school dismissal process.
We understand that there may be occasions when you need to make changes to your child's dismissal plan, but after 2:45 PM, it becomes increasingly challenging to implement these changes without causing disruptions. Please make sure to communicate any changes or early dismissal requests to the school's office well in advance of this time to allow us to make the necessary arrangements. You can contact the main office via email or by phone at (240)740-6370.
Thank you for your continued support for a smooth dismissal process.

Student meal eligibility from the 2025 – 2026 school year will carry over into the 2026 – 2027 school year through October 7, 2026 or until a new application is processed. After that, if a student has not newly qualified for free or reduced-price meals, meals will be charged at the regular meal prices. Applications are only being accepted by submitting online.
It is easier than ever to see your school’s breakfast and lunch menus, along with nutritional details, by visiting the MealViewer webpage.

Montgomery County Public Schools has transitioned to a new online payment system called SchoolCash Online as its preferred method of payment for all school-related fees.
SchoolCash Online helps parents/guardians and community members pay school-related fees safely, quickly, and easily. SchoolCash Online will help increase efficiency and security at schools by making payments directly into schools’ bank accounts and eliminating the need for teachers to handle money. In addition, once registered, you will be immediately informed about school activities!
The new system puts all of the school-related fees online for purchase so users can make purchases online using a credit card or e-check. A processing fee will be included on all items available for purchase, regardless of the type of payment used on SchoolCash Online or at the school.
Parents/guardians can register now at - Click here
