Huskie Health with Nurse Becky
Is it hard for you to find time to get your child to the dentist? Well, now the dentist can come to your child. We are partnering up with Great Lakes Bay Health Centers Mobile Dental Bus for your child's dental health. On September 5th one of their hygienists will be rounding to the elementary schools to talk to the students on the importance of brushing their teeth. Your child will be sent home with a form. Fill this out if you'd like your child to be seen and send it back to school with them. They will work directly with your insurance company and get your child scheduled. On September 13 & 14, the bus will park at a building, do cleanings, and an exam by the dentist, and then head to the next building. The school nurse will work with the secretaries at each building to get them safely to the bus for their cleaning and dental exams. Once they are done, they will return to class with a new toothbrush and a report card to take home. If there is anything concerning or treatment they would like to perform at that time, they will reach out to you via phone call to discuss it with you. This is not just for elementary students. We already have some middle and high school students signed up. So, if you wish to have your middle or high school students seen, have them stop by their school office on September 5th and grab a form. Make sure we get the forms back as soon as possible so they know how many students to expect. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to reach out to Nurse Becky @ killingbeck.becky@hemlockps.com and she will put you in touch with the dental bus team. Huskie Health starts with a clean mouth! Let’s go Huskies!
The deadline to order your Color War T-shirt is Monday, September 11th. This is a great way to show your Huskie Pride and participate in getting your whole class points for the class cup.
Don't forget to order!

The Friends of the Rauchholz M Library will be holding their yearly book sale on Sat., Sept. 16, from 9 a.m - 2 p.m. It will take place on the library's front lawn; inclement weather will move it indoors at the library. Funds raised help to support programming at the library like our summer mini-camps, seed library, story time and much more. They only hold ONE sale a year so don't miss it! The group is also welcoming new members to join the Friends. #booksale #FriendsoftheLibrary #MyRML
