Dear Doyon Families,
Another exciting week has come to a close at the Paul F. Doyon Memorial School! 🎉 Our students across all grade levels were busy learning, playing, and enjoying time together, and it has been wonderful to see our school community in action.
Our kindergarten students participated in Pages-in-Play, an in-house enrichment experience where a guest storyteller engaged our youngest learners with imaginative and engaging stories. Our second grade students shined in their musical showcase - congratulations to our talented performers for sharing their hard work and creativity with the school community!
Our fifth graders welcomed the Ipswich River Wildlife Society and stepped into the role of scientists as they explored questions and wonderings about the natural world, and our first grade students wrapped up the week with an exciting field trip to the Stone Zoo 🦁 - a memorable experience for all.
We also want to extend a sincere thank you to those who joined us for School Council and FRIES; these groups play an important role in supporting and enriching our students’ experiences, and we truly appreciate your time and dedication.
As a reminder, next week is April recess, and we look forward to welcoming students back on Monday, April 27th. The Main Office will remain open during the break, so please don’t hesitate to call if you need assistance. There will be no edition of the Doyon News next Friday, April 24th, and our next communication will be shared on Friday, May 1st. And just like that, May is right around the corner - which means we are in the home stretch. We’ve got this! 💪
Warmly,
Mr. Whitehouse-Mullen & Mrs. Benincasa

Nurse's Notes
Hello Doyon Families!
Spring has finally arrived in ipswich and so have the bugs!
It is a good idea to apply bug spray, especially for those late afternoon/evening outdoor and sports activities. I am seeing a lot of bites in the back of the neck as well so don't forget that spot! I am happy to check in with your child and apply anti-itch cream as needed. Also, please check your child for ticks!
Have a wonderful spring break!
