Good afternoon CLHS Parents and Community members,

If the Fall weather is any indication, time is flying by this school year and we are quickly headed toward the end of the 1st nine weeks. We continue to celebrate our seniors and the traditions of Cardington-Lincoln High School. We have held annual events including Senior Sunrise, Senior parking lot painting and Homecoming. Students have also been busy with academics, athletics and college/career exploration.

  • ACT Testing:
  • Students can sign-up for national test dates: https://my.act.org/account/signin?location+https://my.act.org

Students will choose the location and date to take the test. If you have previously tested, you have an ACT ID and account set-up. ACT ID can be found at the top of the previous scoresheet. Mrs. Dunn has fee waivers for those who qualify. Fee waivers do not cover a late registration fee. Only juniors and seniors can use a fee waiver.

Cost: $68 or $93 for ACT with the Writing Section.

  • Graduation Seals: For freshmen and new student parents, the state of Ohio requires students to earn at least two diploma seals for graduation. Mrs. Dunn will be meeting with freshmen to review this information. Ideally, students would have earned at least two seals by the end of their junior year.
  • Students need to complete a minimum of 60 hours of community service for the Community Service Diploma Seal (1 of 12 seals available). Students need to turn in any summer community service hours to the guidance office as soon as possible! There is a form in the guidance office or on the Ohio Department of Education website.

  • Seniors: The FAFSA will be available for the 2027-28 award year, with the form launching by October 1, 2026. A FAFSA workshop evening will be announced soon! Seniors completing the Common Application: Please list Mrs. Dunn as Sherrie Dunn, note the spelling of her name so that all applications are associated with her account.

  • Please make sure to keep updated on student grades through the PowerSchool Parent Portal.

Notes From The Nurse Notes From The Nurse

Welcome back to an exciting new school year! Students needing medication at school will need a new medication form filled out for the 2026-2027 school year. As a reminder, prescription medications require a prescriber's written order, and all medication (prescription and over-the-counter) MUST be brought in by the parent/guardian or their designee. Students are NOT permitted to transport medication, unless indicated by the prescriber for inhalers and/or epipens. Medications and completed medication forms will be accepted at Open House.
